Maximum Games Announces 'Loading Human' Virtual Reality Partnership
Have you ever wanted to just escape into a completely different world, one that will completely immerse you in a realistic looking universe? Well that’s Maximum Games had in mind when they revealed their partnership with Untold Games.
In 2014 Untold Games started up a kick starter project to develop a virtual action/adventure game that would captivate everyone. When Maximum Games saw the game in its early stages at Game Connection in 2014, they immediately saw the potential in such a game and have since given full backing to finish the project. The game is now able to be previewed at E3 beginning on Tuesday June 16.
The game ‘Loading Human’, will completely immerse the player into a virtual world where you will not only see what the character sees, you will also be able to hear the characters thoughts which will add the overall effect of realism to the game. As you move around the levels, you will be able to glimpse the different parts of the characters body. This game is being built on the Unreal 4 engine, which allows for the game to have stunning graphics as well as being as fluid as possible.
Christina Seeley, CEO of Maximum Games, state “…players are completely immersed in a beautiful alternative world, [in which] interacting with the environment around them [will allow] the story to unfold by the actions they take.” She also mentions that “This game is a significant step in the world of virtual reality.
Flavio Parenti, CEO of Untold Games, says “There is a feeling of getting lost in the game, so you are actually forgetting you are playing and, instead, are simply living the story.”
