Bravely Second: End Layer Gets European Release Date
Nintendo's European department have announced that Bravely Second: End Layer - the sequel to Bravely Default - is coming to Europe on Nintendo 3DS on February 26, 2016. The announcement also includes a picture of the Deluxe Collector's Edition which was previously announced during Nintendo Direct last month.
The sequel takes place two and a half years after the events of the first game. We now get to meet the hero Tiz Arrior who is rescued by a woman named Magnolia Archfra who is from the moon, which does sound like a very archetype JRPG consept. We've been promised more exploration of Luxendarc, and the game will also have turn based combat similar to the older Final Fantasy games.
Bravely Default got a lot of praise for how they handled the turn based combat, with up to 24 classes to choose from as they were unlocked. The fact that you can mix abilities from each of the classes into different classes opens up for some rather exciting tactical opportunities.
