Arya Stark's Actress Says Hell Yeah To The Last of Us Role

By Alex Bullock

Game of Thrones fans' favourite pint-sized assassin might have a bit more murderin' left in her, as Maisie Williams confirms that she'd love to take the role of Ellie if and when it happens.

Speaking to IGN, Williams confirmed rumours swirling around Comic Con earlier this year. She met with The Last of Us writer/director Neil Druckmann and Hollywood stalwart Sam Raimi, and was even invited to moderate a panel, but didn't want to make a "half arsed" job of it while busy with Thrones.

"The way it was left is they want me to do it, and I want to do it. But there’s no script, no director, and no anything else. So at this moment, it’s looking like, ‘Yes,’ but it’s still such early days.

"[But] at the moment, it’s looking good, and I’d love to do it. Hell yeah."

As you might have gathered, there's no release date for the film yet, but Druckmann has confirmed that he will be adapting the existing story personally rather than penning a new one. Sadly for Spider-Man and Evil Dead fans, Sam Raimi plans to produce the film rather than direct it.
