A New Turtles Game Could Be In The Works

By Elisabeth Elvestad

According to the Australian Classification Board, Platinum Games - the developers behind Bayonetta, Vanquish and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance - are working on a new game based on the well known Ninja Turtles license. A Brazillian agency also reported this back in the beginning of November, but it passed mostly unnoticed.

The title of the game is set to be Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan. Activision is listed as the publisher, which makes sense considering they recently worked with Platinum Games on The Legend of Korra and Transformers: Devastation. Little more is currently know about the game, but judging by Platinum Games previous games and what has been done with the Turtles series before, we think it's likely that we will be getting an action based game where you can slap the bad guys around with ninja weapons.

Platinum Games are currently also busy with Star Fox Zero along with Nintendo, Scalebound for Microsoft Studios and Nier: Automata. All these games are scheduled for release in 2016.
